Version 0.5 Snake (Feral)

The second Feral Apex Predator added to the game is Snake, decided by vote from my supporters on SubscribeStar.  Thanks for the support!  New internals and new predatory behavior.  The Snake plays for keeps.  Will you be able to help Amelia escape?

New Additions:

>>Snake added to the game.  See new in-game tip regarding Snake for more information if desired.

>>New internal image set added for straight stomach.  Will be expanded upon when a monster girl with a straight stomach is added.

>>New dialogue added for Amelia as prey depending on either how many times she's been eaten in total, willing scenes experienced, or hours she has been prey.  Most of these apply as solo prey to Apex predator, but some apply regardless of the predator type.

>>HD versions of the game now available.  If the file size of this version is too big, a regular version is also still available for download at a reduced size compared to before (regular v0.5 is nearly half the size of v0.4 due to proper compression techniques).

>>Linux version is now supported and available as download.  All testing is done on Windows and Android so Linux is totally untested.  I am relying on Unity to know what it's doing, and if it does then there shouldn't be any issues purely because of the platform the build is made for.  If anyone has issues with this version specifically I'd appreciate the heads up so I can look into it.

>>Swap button added to Options screen.  If you want images on the left half of the screen and the diary on the right half, you can click this to do that.

>>Landscape/Portrait setting for Android will replace Full Screen setting in Option screen.  Landscape Left, a horizontal view, is set by default.  If you prefer a vertical grip/view you can find it in this setting.

->This isn't a true Portrait mode, as all menu screens like Options, Predator Info, Help etc, will still be horizontal, but the game and image containers will now rotate 90 degrees to essentially simulate Portrait mode.  Between this and the new Swap button, basically any possible position should be obtainable on Android if you want the physical buttons on your phone to be on top or below the phone and whether you want the images on top/right (default) or bottom/left (swapped) of the screen.

>>Page buttons added to Options Screen.  Ran out of room, so the page can be switched by pressing this button to show/hide sets of options.

->New option on page 2 to show/hide Debug Toggle button.  Very lengthy warning provided next to this button.  These are buttons that are used to more easily test the game.  I would prefer if players did not use this as it destroys pacing and may skip content, but I understand some might run something like a Cheat Engine to manipulate values anyway, or maybe a save-file wasn't able to be transferred and some would like a shortcut back to any progress that was lost, or insert any other reason.  This menu doesn't cover everything, so if someone has suggestions on what values should be able to be manipulated here I can consider adding them.

>>QuickSave now has 6 slots ordered where the left-most one is the most recently created, while the right-most one is the oldest and will be deleted once the next QuickSave is created.  QuickSave does not create a second backup Simple Load file like main files do.  If you're relying on one of these to keep your progress, from here on out it's suggested that you save it to a main file before updating.  See Bug Fixes for more info on changes made to how the main saves are created now.

Changes:

>>Map has been expanded vertically by 2 more rows of 10 tiles.

>>Bear kinky escape image improved visually, not as blurry.  

>>Cat girl has slightly different externals while purring and asleep now.  Some dialogue added and used if the willing scene is obtained while Cat girl is asleep.

>>Internals used while Amelia is prey to bear purposely have their quality reduced (so no change, despite being changed, or something).  These were made at the start of development when my AI generation technique was still being figured out and the new HD definitely brings out these flaws.  These internals will get revisited when another predator with a big stomach gets added.

>>QuickSave is no longer automatically selected when opening up Load screen.  Instructions page is shown by default every time instead to explain some of the changes and potential visuals that may show up to communicate a problem and backups required if they arise.

>>Relationship required to Fast Travel and Feed Predator reduced from 50% to 10%.

Bug fixes:

>>All outdoor images were imported under a less desirable setting (the ones that show up while resting outside, or as the save file image when saving outside).  The setting is the same as nearly all other images now and has the same quality as nearly every other image in game.

>>Diary entries can now click/finger press and drag anywhere within the viewport to scroll the diary.  Credit to sevensails: https://forum.unity.com/threads/child-objects-blocking-scrollrect-from-scrolling...

->Image of diary will not change if enough of a drag is detected.  Must press and release within 50 units for the images associated with the potentially clicked diary to apply.

>>Save/Load security added.  Before when trying to find a image and running into an error while doing so would potentially break the whole process.  I believe this was the main cause of 'Load Game' on Main Menu button not working between versions, but I can't confirm since I couldn't replicate it.  Now it will attempt to find the saved image, and if unable to it will return the error sprite by default (try/catch).

->Any saves created on this version and going forward will also create a second file that stores the bare minimum for Simple Load.  Before, Simple Load was dependent on the main file to retrieve necessary information, but the obvious flaw here is if something goes wrong with this main file between versions then not everything necessary may be loaded.  The goal is that this 2nd file receive no changes between versions while the main file will continue to expand as needed as the game grows.  I thought ahead on what the minimum is for the game to keep track of and simplified how this data is collected to leave very little room for error.

->Due to a change in how Upgrades are loaded, any saves created prior to this version will not remember any bikini that is unlocked (Durable Bikini).

>>Bear info page in Help menu was being deleted all the time.  Check added to see if Feral is Disabled before deleting this info page now.

>>Soft lock with Cat girl addressed.  This would happen if you choose to feed the Cat girl while with a consensual predator (bunny girl) during the hunt event when the head start is over.  This specific use-case has been addressed.

->Along with this, as part of the other measures constantly running in the background to avoid softlocks, a new one was added to see if a button press is sending a diary or not.  Every single button press is supposed to send a diary entry, and if it doesn't then the buttons would not update.  Now if a button is pressed and a diary isn't sent along with it the game will send a error diary and allow the game to proceed.

>>Tile click now checks if it is interrupted like most other outside actions.  Before an encounter would start then the message about travelling somewhere outside could post afterward.  The travelling post is now not sent if something interrupts movement like a predator encounter.

>>Succubus's funEvent with duo prey now plays out shortly after the conditions are met.

>>MapTile.cs added Update method that will update the unableToMove text shown in the movement panel if it no longer applies.  

>>It was possible to escape Bear right after the willing scene due to a error in calculating custom DateTime difference.  Now Bear should be awake after the event.

>>CatGirl.cs when getting depressed dialogue, when searching for all predators to comment about she will exclude herself now.  One of her comments about waking up will only occur within 2 hours of her wake up time instead of any time while she's awake.

>>Many changes to how Apex predator images are save/loaded.  At any point when a save is available, the correct image should show up as a preview for that file and also load into the game.
